My art is about detail and light, I find it both fascinating and inspiring, thats why I use pencils of all sorts, they allow me alot of control to draw the light.
I have never been one to appreciate modern or abstract 'art' and really prefer to render light bouncing of objects in high detail, thats why I love Realism.
A really good quality realism peice can take my breath away and I can really appreciate the amount of effort that went into the making, unlike other forms of art where the process is alot quicker and requires less effort.
I have always loved and been heavily influenced by the old masters such as William Bouguereau, Raphael and of course Da Vinci but equally love fantasy art by both old and modern masters like Norman Lindsay, Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell.

Eventually I wish to learn to paint because it seems to be viewed as a more serious and long term art form by most people, However at the moment I am having to much fun doing what I am doing, when I get bored with it I suppose I will move on!
